
ANTWERPEN: Why Antwerpen?
The name comes from an old story that said that Bravo, a roman heroe, tired of the represion of the gigant Antigoon that make everyone who want to cross the Schedt pay him a fee, cut his hand.
Celebrated in a statue in from of the city hall, you can see how the arm is bleeding actually.
The statue is a fontain.

Antwerpen is well known by its port, the second biggest in Europe. Centuries has passes since the first ship arrived and this harbour, Bonapartedok, is hosting now the MAS, the newest museum in Antwerp about the river, the city, the port, and the world.

The cathedral of Our Lady, never finished, it was supposed to have two towels but the city was run out of money!
In a Gothic style, really remind me the one in Burgos, home sweet home..
