OLD HABITS DIE HARD

It might be a night like any other, drinking beer with your work mates in some club, a familiar song was playing out loud, "Como hablar" , the same song that "only" 7 years ago a friend was singing at the European Night at Leiden, NL, dedicating it to the discovery that AEGEE had been for all of us. " How to say that you gain me little by little, even though you  arrive by chance."

Lots of adventures, challenging projects, never ending trips and many many friends follow that first summer university.









And one day, I felt the weight of dutty, the weight of the goodbyes and I just stopped doing what for many years was the most exciting part of my live.

However, one night you realize you have been missing something, you miss organize events with those incredible proyect managers, the tringling in your stomach the day before the event, you missed meeting people from all over Europe and beyond, even the Workshops!,  and you are just a bit too tired of a not-so-much-challenging- any-more job

And what better that re-start where all begun?

You pack your air mattres, your sandals and a scarf (ok, and one thousand other items) and take a plane to Istanbul.

And people think you are 21, and you actually enjoy as if you were!! you get wasted, sleep 3 hours and go for sightseeing for the whole day, or climb a hill, swim in the open sea at night and make friends, that kind of friends that no matter how much time will take until you meet again, they will always have a piece of your heart. And you grow up, grow up smarter, happier and full of energy.

Cause it must be true that travelling is the only thing where you spend money and make you richer. And much more if you travel with AEGEE.
